Picture Perfect Palette

My most favourite subject to photograph is my children, especially my adored twin daughters. In their youth, they embraced my innovative photography concepts mostly with enthusiasm , embarking on whimsical adventures. As time passed and they ventured into the realms of independence, their participation in these creative endeavors gradually waned.
Amidst their journey, a profound affinity for makeup and beauty bloomed within both, leading to the accumulation of a vast collection of cosmetic treasures. Observing unused palettes within their possession, it dawned upon me to repurpose these artifacts of glamour. By repurposing these palettes, I endeavored to enshrine the memories captured of them in their earlier days, immortalizing moments of yesteryears adorned in vivid hues.
Beyond their utility as mere artifacts, these repurposed palettes stand as testaments to the metamorphosis and maturation witnessed in my beloved daughters. Each stroke of makeup unveils a chapter of their evolution—the subtle rosy blush reminiscent of their carefree laughter, the shimmering highlight reminiscent of their soaring ambitions amidst vast skies, and the earthy tones mirroring their grounding presence during mundane yet cherished escapades. Each archived image encapsulates a whimsical anecdote—their canine companion joining in jovial walks during the stark backdrop of lockdown, symbolizing moments of levity amidst the monotony of solitude.
